Campsie - Flemington Goods Line

Summary

Track: unknown
Stations: 0 / 4 in use

Part of the metropolitan goods lines, this connects the Main South with the Bankstown line. The major location on this line is the large freight marshalling yard at Enfield. On the eastern side of the complex is the Delec locomotive maintenance facility. The northern end of the line features the Flemington Goods Junctions.

As well as providing access to Enfield Yard, this line is also used by trains from the north and west to get to the Botany goods line (there are dedicated freight lines from the southern end all the way to the beginning of the Botany line). It also sees National Rail trains which use the line to back into their freight facility on the Chullora - Sefton goods line.

During trackwork on the inner west lines, you will sometimes see passenger trains using this line to get from Central to points west.
