This line originates at Korong Vale, in central Victoria. For all intents it ended at the Victorian border town of Robinvale. The line from there to Koorakee was fully constructed but never officially opened. The only trains to run on this line were operated by the Railway Construction Branch.
From Koorakee, the intent was to extend the line to the location of Lette Tank. Construction was begun, and some structures built, however line was only laid for about a kilometre beyond Koorakee before work was abandoned.
An article on this line appeared in the April 1999 issue of the ARHS Bulletin.
