Description: |
As the one-time effective end of line station (only the colliery lay beyond), this was significant location. The station featured a back platform dock and a horse dock behind the 190m main platform. Opposite was a loop line for engine release as well as 3 goods sidings with loading bank and a goods shed which covered the number 2 siding. There were the usual loco facilities of a water column and coal stage, but no turntable. The main line continued beyond the station across Vincent St to the Aberdare Extended Colliery.

Current status: |
No trace remains of the station or yard. The area is now an industrial site. The path of the line is now a footpath next to the road.
