The 42m platform stood on the down side of the main line, about 300m before the dead end. Between the station and the terminus were a water tank and ash pit. Opposite the station were the usual run-around loop and goods siding with loading bank. On the up side of the line before the station was a triangle loop and coal stage. By 1938 stock siding and timber sidings had been added. By 1989 some simplification had taken place, with the loop siding and coal stages gone. A grain siding had been added, leading to some silos.
