Description: Cowra was by far the most significant location on this line. As well as having the Eugowra line junction, the station served a major town. At its height, the location featured stock yards, goods sheds, car shed, staff barracks, stationmaster's house, and a flour mill. Numerous sidings were provided for these facilities. In addition, Cowra Loco was a major locomotive servicing point. It included inspection and ash pits, an engine house, coal stage and various facilities for the repair and maintenance of rolling stock.
Current status: Cowra Loco is now the base for the Lachlan Valley Railway. The station is used as a based for the LVR's tourist train activities. Much of the infrastructure has been removed.
